My name is Erin and if we get to know each other well enough, you can call me Ernie...a sweet nickname given to me by my kids and former students! I'm an empty nester, single mama with two amazing, young adult kids that I love dearly. They are two of the very best gifts that God has ever given me. I raised them on my own for 22 years, providing for the three of us through teaching, clinical photography and freelance photography. Whether teaching high schoolers about it, or doing it on my own, it seems I've had a camera in hand since I was 14.  I used my grandpa's little 110 film camera to photograph some hummingbirds while camping and even though the images probably weren't that good, they were good enough for that shy 14-year-old to become photo editor of my high school newspaper and then go on to study photography, art and journalism in college. 

As I have  raised my kids over the last 22 years, my freelance work and teaching have always been the side focus, while the clinical photography was my main source of income. While I'm so thankful for that provision, my heart and passion is to pursue more freelance work and more personal projects in this next chapter of my life. And I'd honestly love for you to be a part of that! Let me help tell the story of who you are, and what you're passionate about! I love photographing people and I love storytelling through the lens!
